Kolkata/ Bhopal/ Patna, Sep 15 (ANI): The Trinamool Congress, a key ally of UPA government, is likely to meet on 18th September to take a final decision on their stand regarding the fuel prices hike and the foreign direct investment (FDI) in retail, aviation and other sectors. The TMC has already expressed its strong opposition to the cabinet’s decision, but will decide its strategy in the meeting on Tuesday. However, Congress General Secretary Digvijay Singh has defended the government by contending that each state government had been given the option vis-à-vis the FDI in retail sector. Meanwhile, Bihar Chief Minister Nitish Kumar said that the abrupt rise in diesel price would have adverse chain reaction.
