"Srinivasan must quit immediately if he has any sense of morality."
Sharad Pawar Mumbai, Dec 28 (ANI): It is certainly the end of an era today, as Tata group Chairman, Ratan Tata has hereby hung up his boots, ending his 21 years of reign over a corporate house that has sealed the stamp of a developing and shining India on a wider global scale. It was 21 years back in 1991, when Ratan Tata took over as Chairman, succeeding the legendary JRD Tata, and transformed a conventional corporate house into a USD 100 billion global conglomerate with high-profile acquisitions abroad. For someone who was heavily criticized for lacking experience in running a company of the scale of Tata Industries initially, his vision to transform the group into a multinational giant through Tata Tea’s takeover of UK brand Tetley in 2000, put to rest all doubts over his leadership skills.
