Saudi Arabia elects 30 women members to advisory councilIn its January 12, 2013 issue, Urdu daily Roznama Rashtriya Sahara claimed that Saudi ruler Abdullah bin Abdul Aziz nominated 30 women as members of Majlish Soora by an order. Besides this, two other women have been inducted in the Ministry.

Majlis Soora is an Assembly which functions as Advisory Council in Saudi Arabia. Initially in Saudi Arabia, entry of women into politics, administration and driving was banned.

Hamara Samaj on January 14, 2013, welcomed this decision and claimed that it has bolstered the image of Saudi Arabia in the world.
