BJP to get 28 seats, Congress 22 in Delhi: ABP-Nielsen pre-poll surveyDelhi is a month away from Assembly elections pre-poll survey by ABP-Nielsen predicted 22 seats for Congress and 28 for Bhartiya Janta Party. The news floated  AAP would get 18 seats and others will get two seats in the Delhi Assembly polls which is scheduled for December 4.

Predicting that BJP will get 34 per cent votes, the opinion poll said that other parties and Independents are likely to manage only two seats.

Around 4,000 eligible voters were surveyed for the poll between October 9 and 12.

The survey said the current scenario could change once the candidates are announced by the parties.

It said BJP would have gained another 15 per cent votes if it didn’t have AAP as competitor.

According to the survey, there is a reduction in the loyalist base for both Congress and BJP in the last two months, resulting in a gain for AAP.

According to the poll, around 32 per cent of respondents preferred Kejriwal as the chief minister of Delhi followed by Sheila Dikshit (27 per cent) and Vijay Goel (27 per cent).

The poll results showed that younger voters (18-23 years) have rated Dikshit’s performance as Chief Minister as below average.

It said corruption and price rise are the main issue for the voters. Price rise is a major influencer for female respondents.

The poll said AAP is seen as a party that can bring down corruption while BJP is seen as a party that can control inflation.

According to the opinion poll, about 65 per cent of the respondents did not want to give another chance to incumbent Congress Government to govern Delhi. 40 per cent of the respondents have rated State Government’s performance as below average with a mean score of 2.74.

The counting of votes will be on December 8 in Delhi and there are 1,15,07,113 electors.

Meanwhile BJP’s Delhi unit chief Vijay Goel is seriously devising a strategy to bag all these reserved seats.

Does you people congress & BJP has any model ?? I know all of you have model to boost corruption in INDIA. What has congrees done in last 50-60 years & BJP in last 30 years.

SeethaRamaraj, you are not in touch with reality. AAP has already said it will not support or even take support from Congress/BJP because AAP voters are people who have voted against both Congress & BJP.AAP will get majority

  • Shiva Rajendran

Kejriwal is an arrogant man, he is in politics for his convenience and for a cause, Will Delhi people realise this!!!! and BJP has to strengthen its strategies to counter APP rather than the Congress (bunch of baboons) who are already in a losing ground.
