Fearing action from workers of Aam Aadmi Party, the family of the child, whose ball had damaged the windshield of Delhi’s Women and Child Development Minister Rakhi Birla’s car, has abandoned the house.
The neighbours of the scared family members have confirmed that they were living under lot of trauma, thereby forcing them to leave the house. The neighbours also told that the child was very much under stress that he neither ate nor slept for two consecutive nights after the incident.
As per reports published in a news daily, the child’s family has moved to his grandmother’s residence, for the time being.
On Sunday, 26-year-old Birla had lodged a complaint at Mangolpuri police station stating that someone from crowd threw a stone at her windshield while she was returning after attending a function at the Santoshi Mata Mandir at 6.15 pm.
It is to be noted that Rakhi’s car was damaged by a ball which came out of the nearby playground. Reports say that Rakhi didn’t mention this side of the incident to the police even after the child and his father had personally approached her and apologised for the same.
The incident reportedly happened in R-Block Mangolpuri, which falls in constituency of the Women and Child Development Minister.
