Prabhakaran – the LTTE supremo was once considered as the most dreaded terrorist who had advocated for his cadre, and simultaneously buried the legitimate struggle and hope of the Tamils of Sri Lanka in his battle against the Island nation.

Prabhakaran’s stubbornness, his barbaric attitude and refusal to ever see a reason while whipping up ethnic hatred towards a majority Sinhala population who are by and large a decent and peace loving community had increasingly isolated him from a sizable number of Sinhalese who felt the Tamils should be treated on par with the rest. He had repeatedly attacked and killed unarmed Sinhalese and even mounted an attack on their holiest places of worship, including Anuradhapura and Kandy where the sacred tooth of the Buddha is kept.

Through his funding of money to chauvinistic separatist Tamil Groups in Tamil Nadu earned through drugs and smuggling of arms as well as extortion from Tamils in the Island by terrorising them with his well-knit network.

Immediately after the ethnic riots in Sri Lanka in 1983, Indira Gandhi tried her best to work out lasting peace and honourable solutions to the ethnic problem by deputing one of our best diplomats the late

G.Parthasarathy who had drafted possibly the best deal the Tamils could ever hope for and agreed to and ratified by the then hawkish President J R Jayawadene and his recalcitrant cabinet members too.

Once again, Prabhakaran sabotaged and killed all the possibilities for a just and honourable solution to the Island nation’s ethnic problem. Subsequently, he had systematically murdered every Tamil leader with any intellectual and academic excellence like Amrithalingam, Neelan Thiruchelvam and a host of brilliant people.

After Rajiv Gandhi became the Prime Minister of India, the greatest blunder of sending the Indian Peace Keeping Force (IPKF) to Jaffna had ended in the mass extermination of more than three thousands Indian soldiers mercilessly slaughtered by the LTTE and an equal numbers were maimed.

This was perhaps the lowest point in our misadventure and the remaining IPKF were sent back unceremoniously and their shame dishonour and defeat by the terrorist Prabhakaran celebrated by V P Singh and M K Karunanidhi who later in the words of Sonia eulogised the political sage and Pitamaha of the shameless UPA. It did not stop at that either as Prabhakaran finished his mission by assassinating Rajiv along with scores of innocent people Karunanidhi who was sacked by the Chandrasekhar Government following the aftermath of the gruesome death of Rajiv became the closest ally of his widow Sonia.

Prabhakaran was probably the worst terrorist and psychopath, the world had seen in the second half of the 20th century. He never listened to reason, massacared his own men and used young children and teenagers as soldiers and like the proverbial Narakasura indulged in an orgy of blood bath and sacrificed the lives of tens and thousands of Tamils in his brutal war. He died an ignoble death by hiding among forty thousand innocent civilians who were used as human shield to guard him.

The point I am trying to convey is that Prabhakaran devoid of dichotomy was a killer who had plunged the entire Tamil territory into a living inferno worse than the hell portrayed in Bible. He was a Christian. He was always in his army fatigue but never bit the cyanide as he had urged his cadre and died the most cowardly death which he rightly deserved.

Now let me make a quick comparison between Manmohan and Prabhakaran. Manmohan has been the cause of the murder of democracy, decency political accountability, probity and sanctity in public life and the cruel decimation and desecration of time honoured values by his corruption, intimidation and outright bribery to carry his agenda through Parliament. His utter shamelessness and cruel mummified visage and an inability to react to the most demanding situations and actively encouraging outright corruption and blatant communal and caste politics under an ugly word he had coined as “Coalition Dharma” which give him the licence to actively poison and destroy the nation. In fact, sacred institutions like the Judiciary, CAG and other Constitutional bodies does make him on par with the terrorist Prabhakaran. One destroyed his fellow Tamils, the other has destroyed the Nation and it’s sanctity. Prabhakaran did believe in institutions and never contested elections. Manmohan till date has not contested an election and is a shameless backdoor entrant to Parliament.

Prabhakaran was a ruthless killer and Manmohan a demonic and diabolic desiccator of democracy and human values.

The comparison can go on but I think I have made my point sufficiently clear.
